Music

I vary in taste between music.

As a child I enjoyed learning to play the piano.
I especially enjoyed playing jazz and pop music.
That's how I started taking AMV lessons, just like my brother and sister.
General (Algemene) Musical (Muzikale) Education (Vorming).
There you will learn to play the recorder and read notes, among other things.
Later I didn't like Piano that much anymore and I started
to play another stringed instrument, namely Guitar.

We’re actually quite a musical family.
My maternal grandmother played the piano.
My mum plays the guitar and the saxophone.
My brother also plays the trumpet and my sister plays the flute.

I took part in the "New Talent Orchestra"
organised by Fanfare Hou en Trouw.
I play a B-flat trumpet and am constantly learning new things.
I’ve also taken part in the "Tutti Orchestra".
I can find play-along tracks here: Tutti Play-along Tracks
I’m now part of the training orchestra.
Playing the trumpet is challenging: the sound is created
by vibrating your lips against the mouthpiece while blowing.
