Geocaching

I have different hobbies.
One of my hobbies is Geocaching.
I usually do that together.

Geocaching is a game where you search for
a log sheet that is hidden somewhere in nature.
In a box, tube, homemade creation or even more creative.
You can find out where the log sheet is located using
geolocation coordinates.
Once found you write down your username on the log sheet
and then you log online that you have found the log sheet.

To get started:
Step 1: Create an account on Geocaching.com.
Step 2: Install the Geocache app for Android or for Apple.
Step 3: Look on the map for a nice Geocache nearby, navigate and locate the log sheet.
Step 4: Write your username and date on the log sheet.
Step 5: Always put the log sheet, and Geocache, back in the same spot where you found it.
Step 6: Log into the app that you found the Geocache.

When maintenance is needed you can also report it.
Our first homemade Geocache is in cooperation
with the Doopsgezinde Vermaning (Mennonite church) in Broek op Langedijk.

Geocaching is done worldwide by young and old.
In almost all countries of the world
including the Netherlands and our neighboring countries, but
also still in Ukraine, Russia and Israel.
There are only a few countries in the world where it is not
possible; including in North Korea.
Other countries remain limited, such as Turkmenistan.
Even there you can find a geocache.
Geocaching can be done almost anywhere.

You can also geocache in Heerhugowaard.
In almost every place in the Netherlands you can find a geocache.
So it is very popular.
